FAQ

Do you travel?

While I love to travel, especially for photography, it’s difficult for me to do so with my tight schedule as a full time student. I have several inquiries about traveling to the LA for shoots, but I often have to decline due to my schedule. However, please do not hesitate to ask as I will do my best to work with you.

Do you shoot digital or film?

I prefer shooting digital as that is what I grew up with. Film has its advantages, but in this day and age it is hard to beat the speed and convenience of shooting digital.

Who owns the copyrights to the pictures?

The photographer does! The photographer owns the copyright to every picture he or she takes the moment he or she clicks the shutter. You are more than welcome to print and share the pictures I take so long as it is not for commercial use. I ask that you please credit me whenever you post my images online or publish them (with my consent, of course).

What kind of camera do you use?

I currently shoot with a Canon EOS 40D. You can find a list of the rest of the equipment I use here.

Do you modify the pictures in Photoshop?

Yes! All the pictures you will receive will be fully post processed in Adobe Camera RAW and/or Photoshop. My post processing includes basic color/exposure correction and other enhancements I feel necessary to improve the impact of the images.

Do you prefer natural light or flash?

For the longest time I preferred natural light, but that was only before I started to experiment with flash. I will rarely take a picture without flash, now, regardless of day or night.

Do you offer TFCD or free photography?

In some cases, yes. Please e-mail me with any inquiries regarding TFCD work.
