lights, camera, action!

I haven’t been shooting cars much lately, but I recently gave mine a bath and figured it was time I give it a proper shoot. I brought out the strobes with the intention of only using two to light my car up – “less is more.” Why use 3 when 2 will suffice? Anyway, it was a bit difficult to balance the lighting, and it’s still not quite there, but it’s an improvement.

I also haven’t done any rig shots with my new wheels, so here are a couple. Would have had more but the shoot was cut short due to rain.

*note: images were processed on my dad’s uncalibrated monitor and color/saturation/exposure may be slightly off.
